Thumbs up for the summer sci-fi movie Super 8, in theaters Friday night. It's got a lot of thrills - train wreck, death, military intrigue, a giant spider, flying magnetized metal, explosions - and conjures up innocent memories of the 1970s thanks to a teen-driven storyline. Jesus is in the details, unless I am mistaking him for the Beatles or Peter Frampton. Who said, 'I'm in him and he's in me' ? I rocked out in the screening room seat to the ELO music and "My Sharona." See the Super 8 trailer for more.
